I don't Just draw cute dragons you know? I CAN draw Big scary ones too. C: I like adding this kind of effect on My pencile drawings. It makes it feel more "full" or something to me, not to mention you can see almost all of the line art.
However Im sad to say it's got a messed up foot.. <:C I struggle to draw dragon limbs. <lD...
Drawn on paper and modified in photoshop.
NOTE. Notice that I didn't put the wings EXACTLTY where the sholders are. There is a reason why.
Because I would think that would be VERY painfull for a dragon, because If you think about it. Those bones will be rubbing against each other when it flies.. I belive it should be lower but still on the upper rib cage area.
Second. I tried to do a perspective shot where the dragon's head is closer to the viewer, just trying to give it a bit of depth.

Agreed 100% w/Somnambulist. See what makes shoulder wings not work stereotypically isn't the Bones, is the musculature needed to propel the creature off the ground! For this structure to work, those wing bones are going to need to be anchored to another skeletal structure (If you look at wing structure, even when conjoined to shoulders for Dragons, or bipedal creatures like Gargoyles, they are relying on plates and blades in conjunction with muscle and make use of the clavicle/collarbone structure), or they are just going to be sliding around your ribcage. You'd need a whole new set of bones for those wings to work! Not a bad sketch, just needs some tuning. Make more use of reference! You might have instructors that know loads of reference for wings and their relation to shoulders
